The Order of Malta Ireland zapewnia szkolenia w zakresie pierwszej pomocy, obsługę ambulansów podczas imprez, usługi społeczne i pielęgniarskie. Kadeci i młodzież od najmłodszych lat uczą się pierwszej pomocy, komunikacji i podstawowych umiejętności pielęgniarskich.
Lokalnie można zobaczyć, jak jednostka zapewnia pogotowie ratunkowe i pierwszą pomoc na stadionie miejskim w Athlone, AIT Sports Arena, Tri Athlone, wyścigach Kilbeggan, festiwalach muzycznych, spacerach i rowerowych zbiórkach pieniędzy, rodzinnych dniach zabawy, a także zapewnia transport dla starszych mieszkańców z lokalnych domów opieki w ramach inicjatywy Community Care Initiative.

[ENG] Order of Malta Ireland - Ambulance Corps - Athlone Unit has been serving the Community for over 25 years. The Order of Malta is a voluntary ambulance and first aid organisation. They provide first aid training, ambulance cover at events, community and nursing services.
The Order of Malta Ireland provides first aid training, ambulance service at events, community and nursing services. Cadets and young people learn first aid, communication and basic nursing skills from an early age.
Locally you will see the unit providing Emergency Ambulance and First Aid cover at the Athlone Town Stadium, AIT Sports Arena, Tri Athlone, Kilbeggan Races, Music Festivals, Fundraising Walks & Cycles, Family Fun Days along with providing transport for elderly residents from local nursing homes as part of our Community Care Initiative
Currently they are looking for Volunteers.
